We read with great interest the article from Grabosh and Xynos about two cases of isolated port-site metastasis after robotic hysterectomy for stage IA endometrial carcinoma.1 On reading the article, some observations emerged. First, more and more port-site metastases diagnosed after roboti-cally staged endometrial carcinoma are reported in the literature.2 Second, uterine perforation is a potential complication that could increase the risk of port-site metastasis.1 To this point, we also .reported a case of port-site metastasis after uterine perforation due to uterine manipulator in a patient with endometrial cancer scheduled for total laparoscopic staging.
