The Metal Forming Institute (INOP) is the scientific and research centre dealing with the technology of plastic forming of metals, functioning out of any university; it plays the role of scientific technical hacking for the enterprises interested in this field of technology. The Institute's activity scope and character has been modified during the decades as response to the demand of the country's economy.
