摘要

Results from tests of the thermal and gaseodynamic operating conditions of a blast furnace at the Karabashmed Joint Stock Company are presented. It is found that the conditions characteristic of the combustion of the solid fuel in the burden layer are not satisfactory. It is shown that the furnace efficiency can be substantially improved through optimization of the pressure feed and alterations in the design of the distributing manifold and the tuyere belt.
