Research of forging process of tees with lead-free copper alloy

摘要

The article presents numerical simulations of the flashless forging process of selected forged water installation fittings that were made from lead-free copper alloy. The QForm3D commercial program for finite element method calculations was used for numerical simulations. Numerical simulations were realized for forged tee fittings. The most beneficial workpiece volumes, in terms offilling out of the die, and the values of forming forces on punches were determined.
