摘要

Surface micro geometry is essential for products and tools working under friction conditions. Investigation has shown that thermochemical treatment, particularly nitriding, results in elear roughness inerease of smooth surface with Iow value of Ra parameter regardless of the method of nitriding. It has also been shown that, for a se-lected process, there is an optimum surface micro geometry which almost does not change after thermochemical treatment.
