Elastomer Materials in Ship Vibration and Noise Protection Means

摘要

The use of different synthetic rubbers in ship vibration and noise protection means is reviewed. Comparison of mechanical, acoustic, resource, and service life characteristics of these materials is presented.The term "ship vibration and noise protection means" (acoustic protection) relates to the whole set of devices and coatings for controlling vibrations and noise of ship equipment, pipelines with various media, indoor air noise, and ship hull noise radiated primarily into water.
