摘要

The first I-x-y diagrams (stable equilibria) for the PbSe +SnI_2 = SnSe +PbI_2 reciprocal system have been plotted. It has been found that the melt, terminal solid solutions, and a Sn_3SeI_4-based phase are involved in phase equilibria. The transformations of the title system leading to the crystallization of metastable lead iodide polytypes and a metastable ternary compound that exists in the PbI_2 system have been studied for the first time.
