摘要

The mechanism and kinetics of the nucleation of primary damage in a crystal lattice are considered at the stage of its prefracture. The zones of local melting of a solid phase near stress concentrators are shown to be the most probable damages, whose accumulation significantly accelerates the development of fracture processes in solids during plastic deformation.
