New Roughing Method for External Surfaces of Revolution of Hard-to-Machine Workpieces

Roughing methods for the external surfaces of revolution of hard-to-machine workpieces are analyzed. On that basis, a new roughing method is proposed, with the use of both a cutter and a mill.
