RMA launches tire safety week initiative

Washington-Expanding on its "Be Tire Smart-Play Your PART" tire safety program, the Rubber Manufacturers Association has designated the week of April 29 as the first "National Tire Safety Week." The RMA scheduled the launch of the week at an April 29 news conference, at which officials of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the American Automobile Association also were to appear.
