MTI Global to send production of aerospace goods to Mexico

MISSISSAUGA,Ontario-Silicone foam product manufacturer MTI Global Inc.plans to move its aerospace unit production to Mexico by the end of the year,saving an expected 2.3 million in 2008.The company has based its production for the aerospace market-primarily insulation systems made from lightweight cellular materials-at its headquarters plant in Mississauga.But earlier this year the firm completed the transfer of its supply program for Boeing Co.'s 787 aircraft to its MTI de Baja's joint venture site in Ensenada,Mexico.
