New player: Johns Manville enters EPDM rubber roofing business with renovated plant

MILAN, Ohio—After considerable planning and a major capital investment, Johns Manville Inc. has moved into the EPDM single-ply membrane roofing manufacturing field. The company said it has completely renovated and upgraded a 235,000-sq.-ft. plant it purchased from Tenneco Inc. last year and turned the site into a state-of-the-art production operation complete with new machinery and technology.
