Threaded Fittings for Foam Beads

Particle-foam composite injection molding has reached the next and probably penultimate development stage. At Fakuma 2014, Krallmann, Ruch Novaplast, and Arburg, who have been collaborating on this project for several years, presented a production cell that links together the two major production steps of foaming and injection molding. Before now, the particle-foam parts were made in a separate automatic molding machine and then transferred to the injection molder.
