In injection molding technology,there has been an increasing trend to-wards functional Integration in com-ponents for a long time now.One way to achieve this is to employ the multi-com-ponent technique in one of its many variants.Different materials are com-bined in a Single process step and selec-tively deployed at a point within the part where their specific properties are re-quired.
