Innovative Design Opportunities for Magnet Technology. A plastics processor has developed a process that can be used to produce injection-moulded, permanent magnets with improved magnetic and mechanical properties. Plastic-bonded magnetic materials with fillers such as SrFe, BaFe, NdFeB and SmCo are used first and foremost on account for the freedom of design that the injection moulding process permits.
