This is the second in a series of articles related to the Hot-WaterTank Research Project, which brought together Companies, Universities, and Research Institutions from three European Countries, namely Cyprus, Greece, and Northern Ireland, UK. The project aimed at designing and developing an Innovative Hot-Water Tank, made of mild steel and coated internally with polymer, that will be used in a 'solar plus supplementary system', as classified by the first attribute of the ISO 9459-2:1995 standard.
