摘要

An efficient one pot synthesis of novel ammonium based dicationic ionic liquids (DILs) under microwave (MW) conditions has been carried out. The synthesized DILs are characterized by H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, mass spectrometry and elemental analyses. The thermal properties of DILs are studied using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) methods. The decomposition of synthesized DILs falls between 209 and 266 degrees C. All synthesized DILs are soluble in polar solvents and insoluble in non polar solvents. The MW irradiation method provides significant quantitative yields and takes less time than conventional method.
