Spruce Ridge has been producing fine specimens of quartz and pyrite since 1977. More than thirty years of profitable production is a major accomplishment for metal mines. For a mineral specimen locality being commercially mined, it is virtually unheard of. Spruce specimens grace major museum collections worldwide, as well as thousands of private collections.
