摘要

The BEIR VI committee pointed out in 1999 that an analysis of radon exposed miners data with biologically motivated models is a highly desirable goal,but stated that available models had not yet reached a stage at which they can reliably be used for radon risk assessment [1],because of the complexity and multiplicity of the processes involved.Applications of such biologically motivated models to miners data have already been made [2,3,4],but research on such models in radiation epidemiology is still ongoing.
