St. Louis Refractories Symposium 2015: Review of Refractories as Engineered Ceramics

The 51st Annual Symposium on Refractories, sponsored by the St. Louis Section & the Refractory Ceramics Division of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), was held in St. Louis/US on 25-26 March 2015. The theme of the meeting, organized by co-coordinators M. Alexander and M. Lambert, was Refractories as Engineered Ceramics. Attendance was 203 people, including attendees from nine foreign countries. The 2015 attendance was slightly less than the record attendance of 210 in 2014.
