Baultar's Abrastop flooring solution proved just the ticket for a recent toilet retrofit on SNCF. SNCF AND BOMBARDIER have recently called upon Baultar to devise a solution for the French train operator's cracked toilet floors. "We have developed a practical solution that uses Abrastop floor panels bonded onto the old toilet floor, which gives a new look and a new lease of life to this intimate space," says Denis Vallee, Baultar's project manager for the retrofit programme. "As an epoxy solution, the new floor has excellent mechanical properties, as well as very good chemical, electrical and thermal properties. It also looks better and, most importantly, it is a proven solution."
