WAGON BUILDERS and railway operators are ail-too familiar with the problems presented when having to decide upon the train systems, interior design and onboard service for a new train project that may well be in service for a period of 15 years or more. With more than 20 years' experience, Kiesel Systemtechnik continues to develop catering and service concepts for train systems that guarantee a balanced procedure on board, as well as provide the operator with the flexibility to update and enhance their offering whenever they choose to. As a result of the longevity of highspeed trains, it is not advisable to try to fix the design and aesthetic appearance of the service area for the whole lifecycle. Kiesel Systemtechnik has therefore developed a flexible modular system that allows train operators to change or supplement design elements or functional systems at any point during the train's lifetime.
