Siemens' Desiro 380 and Bombardier's Aventra offer operators a tough choice - both have strong green credentials, but which has the better interior? It's no longer enough for train designs to offer safety, security, speed, capacity, accessibility, reliability and comfort - train operators and increasingly eco-aware passengers are looking for outstanding environmental performance, too.
