The track construction machine TCM 60: a cost-effective solution

Laying a new track is a railway activity that requires a very high level of resources, in terms of both personnel and materials. Matisa has developed a new machine which allows a drastic reduction to be made in resources needed - the Track Construction Machine TCM 60. This article presents a brief outline of this machine, two of which have recently been delivered to Chinese Railways. They will be used to lay the track for China's first high-speed railway line, between Jinzhou and Shenyang.
