Belgrade Central Railway Station is a new railway station that is at the core of a large-scale reconstruction of the main railway junction in Serbia's capital city. The station development envisages the construction of ten tracks at ground level, with a 50,000 m~2 cover of concrete slab that will be the base for a Commercial Centre with retail units and provide access to the city public transport network (urban mass transit and underground), as well as to parking lots and the city street network. The first two tracks have been installed and are open to traffic, and feature state-of-the-art rail fastenings and resilient rail pads from Pandrol.
