This paper compared the gravimetric and volmetirc expressions of soil variables in relation to the yield of rubber. The study was conducted in Kerala, India with the following treatments: N0P0K0, N1P1K1, N1P1K2, N1P2K1, N1P2K2, N2P1K1, N2P1K2, N2P2K1, N2P2K2, N3P1K1, N3P1K2, N3P2K1, and N3P2K2. Data indicated that all soil variables varied within and between treatments. Volumetric soil variables also exhibited differences among replications and treatments but differently for those of gravimetric variables. The latex yield was found ranging from 93 to 315 ml among replications and treatments.
