By measuring the collar diameter, the relationships between collar diameter, leaf, wood and total biomass of Zizyphus zylopyrus [Ziziphus xylopyrus] plants were established to predict the biomass yield of plants in semiarid condition of Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Values of the regression coefficients for leaf, wood and total biomass, yield per plant and coefficient of determination were estimated through regression analysis. Plant collar diameter was significantly correlated with leaf, wood and total biomass production.
