To coincide with the interlift-Augsburg, in this report we are revisiting the topic of modernization. In this context, we have looked at the operation of brush-type DC gearless hoists in the Liftreport 06/2004 and in other previous issues. Today we are considering the modernization of old asynchronous gearless hoists based on the example of a "KONE" installation with 6-pole gearless motor and typical double wrap.
