CAN (CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK), DSP-417 BASICS IN THE VELOCITY MODE

Following our brief excursion into the DCP_04 process, we are returning once again in this article to the DSP-417 in order to take a closer look at the velocity mode. In previous articles we discussed in detail the most important features of the CAN-open protocol in regard to DSP-417. Taking the communications between the elevator controls and the frequency inverter as our example, let us now see how at least two ongoing processes, running in parallel, are carried out: One process for the communications interface and one for equipment functions.
