Aluminium-Schlussel: Key to Aluminium Alloys 8~(th) Edition, 2008

The newly published edition of Aluminium-Schlussel: Key to Aluminium Alloys was proudly displayed at the exhibition booth of Aluminium-Verlag Marketing & Kom-munikation GmbH at the ALUMINIUM 2008 conference held last September in Essen, Germany. Changes in European and international standards as well as new aluminum alloy registrations made it necessary to update the 7~(th) edition. The 8~(th) edition is indeed new and completely different from previous editions. The "Aluminium Key" has always been and remains the world's most comprehensive aluminum alloy reference book, although the spelling of "aluminium" - preferred by Europeans and many outside of the U.S.- is used throughout. As in previous editions, and as the name implies, this edition is written in German and English. In its 622 pages, this 8~(th) edition of Aluminium Key is organized into nine sections, including an appendix, as follows.
