IBCs are in common use in industry as they allow relatively small quantities of chemicals to be transported between suppliers, manufacturers and customers, and around site areas efficiently. IBCs are produced in a wide range of different sizes, shapes, materials of construction and designs to suit specific user requirements. They can be purchased as standard designs as a commodity product or they can be custom built for specific uses. Custom built designs are more expensive. They tend to be used for regular shipments of product within a site or between different sites.
