Veolia wins prestigious Westminster waste contract

Westminster City Council has awarded one of the UK's largest waste, recycling and street cleansing contracts to Veolia Environmental Services in a contract worth￡518M. The new contract aims to substantially increase recycling rates despite the challenges posed by Westminster being one of the most densely built and populated areas of the country, and will also cover gritting during snowy conditions for up to 14 years.
