Beyond the waste review

The early summer publication of the Government's waste review now seems like a distant and hazy memory. This is understandable - the review was only notable for its lack of concrete measures to drive us towards a green economy and a more sustainable system of production and consumption. While it contained little to actively disagree with, the review's reliance on encouraging, supporting, facilitating, enabling and exploring is hugely frustrating for businesses and others relying on clear signals and real incentives.
