ZNA - Texas Koi Chapter Annual Show

Our club was organized in 1991 and our first show was in 1992, which made this our 19th annual show even though it was our first one as a ZNA Chapter. Our show was held October 22 & 23, 2011 on the beautiful grounds of Water Garden Gems just outside of San Antonio, Texas. We had 17 entrants for the koi competition with 133 koi entered. We had members transport their koi by car from as far away as Kansas which is about an 800 mile (1,300 kilometer) drive one way to enter them in our show. The numbersof koi entered has declined somewhat from the peak a few years ago but the quality and size of koi entered has very definitely continued to improve as our members learn more about koi quality.
