摘要

For a free vibration problem of a thin rectangular plate with free faces, exact analytic solutions are obtained with the use of trigonometric basis functions. The problem is formulated for three-dimensional equations of elasticity theory, which were first simplified by assuming that normal stress across the plate is equal to zero.
