On the 3 of November 2013, the Hiroshima Prefectural Nishikigoi Show, commonly known as Hiroshima Nogyosai, had their 50th anniversary event and show in Kure Portpia Park. That show, as well as the other noted local show Niigata Prefecture Nishiki-GoiFair called Niigata Nogyosai, is organized by the prefectural fresh-water fish cooperative under the local prefectural government. Those cooperatives are precisely independent from the All Japan Nishikigoi Promotion Association, or Shinkokai, but theirconsisting members are almost the same of those of Shinkokai.
