A coffee barista at Kafe Fuglen Tokyo told me that Norway was the most advanced country in the manners of making and tasting coffee. He experienced and learned the true Norwegian way of coffee in Oslo. In return, I told him that some Norwegian enjoy keeping Japanese Nishikigoi. He may not have interested in Japanese Nishikigoi but he would mention it in a small talk with his Norwegian visitors at the Kafe. In spite of the talk, I had never been to the Fjord country and even more I had not seen how to keep koi there...before the latest two-day stay in Oslo for this report.
