The Department of Microbiology at the Unive-sity of Tennessee (www.bio.utk.edu/micro) in-vites applications for a tenure-track faculty po-sition at the Assistant Professor level startingAugust 1,2013 in the area of Immunology. Can-didates with active research programs focusingon innate immune responses to infection and/orhost-pathogen interactions using cellular andmolecular immunologic methodologies are en-couraged to apply. The person filling this posi-tion is expected to develop an independent, ex-tramurally funded research program, become anexcellent teacher, mentor both undergraduateand graduate students, and interact well withother faculty members. Candidates must have aPh.D. or equivalent degree and postdoctoral ex-perience in immunology or host-pathogen in-teractions.
