Crude oil closed above $100/ bbl and gasoline rallied to two-year highs amid concerns over escalating unrest in the Middle East. Oil rose to an intraday high of $102.37/bbl as Libyan loyalists to Muammar Qaddafi fought rebels on the east coast, where a large percent of that country's oil is refined and exported.
