International gridelines list for bunkering LNG as a marine fuel as seen by DNV GL

One of the key hurdles to the increased use of ships fuelled by LNG is the lack of harmomsation of bunkering operations and DNV GLN is seeking to resolve this. "DNV GL is launching a Recommended Practice for authorities, LNG bunker suppliers and ship operators which provides guidance on how LNG bunkering can be undertaken," says Lars Fetter Blikom, DNV GL's LNG director.
