CME/Nymex April crude slipped 35￠ to close at $101.07/bbl

After climbing to an intraday high of $103.66/bbl, oil prices settled slightly lower as traders were doubtful that the Libyan government would actually follow though on a cease-fire against the rebel-controlled east, which was announced earlier in the day. As a result of the news, oil prices fell to an intraday low of $100.14 before buyers came back into the market.
