After opening at $4.317, prices rose to an intraday high of $4.363 during morning trading as traders waited on the outcome of the weekly storage report. Following its release, prices fell to an intraday low of $4.264 without much recovery into the close. On the weather front, the biggest news is in the Pacific Northwest, where the models show a cooler weather trend emerging next week into the 11- to 15-day outlook. Seasonal to above-normal temperatures should linger in California, while the Midwest and East are in for a brief cool down before the return of widespread heat, according the Commodity Weather Group.
