BP has asked a panel of judges to combine all lawsuits over economic and environmental damages from the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in a federal court in Houston.

Almost 100 lawsuits, including wrongful death and class-action suits, have been filed against BP, Transocean, Halliburton and other companies involved in the fire and explosion on the Deepwater Horizon and the continuing oil spill in the Gulf.
