Southern Union President Eric D. Herschmann said the company and BG LNG Services have formed a joint venture which has filed an application with the US Department of Energy for long-term authorization to export domestically-sourced LNG from the Company's import terminal in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He added that the application provides for volumes of 2 billion cubic feet per day over a 25-year period.
