Myanmar and other South East Asian countries continue LNG developments with FSRUs

Thailand energy company PTT has an arrangement with Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Co. to invest in certain LNG terminal projects and power generating facilities in Myanmar. formerly known as Burma. These ventures include supplying a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to be deployed as an import facility. The FSRU import project is to provide much needed natural gas to supply power generation in Myanmar.
