Canada aims to realize LNG potential with multiple and well financed plants

To the end of 2014 cumulative production from Western Canada amounted to around 200 Tcf. Western Canada's unconventional gas resources, however, are vast and lie well beyond the future needs of Canadians. Unconventional gas reserves in five potential plays in Western Canada amount to nearly 700 Tcf, while Canada annually consumes only 3 Tcf.
