A series of rallies against the Obama administration's drilling ban will be held in three Texas communities Wednesday

The rallies will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston; the American Bank Center Convention Center in Corpus Christi; and the Port Arthur Civic Center in Port Arthur. The speakers include Carroll G. Robinson of the Houston Citizens Chamber of Commerce; Sherman Lewis III of The Lewis Group and Brandy Jones of Energy People Connect. The drilling ban was called by the Obama administration after the Deepwater Horizon disaster and the oil that leaked from BP's Macondo well.
