Lake Charles Exports now has the green light to export LNG to non-free trade agreement countries

Today's approval from the US Department of Energy makes the Lake Charles Terminal in Louisiana the third LNG export project authorized, after Freeport LNG earlier this year and Sabine Pass LNG in 2011. Lake Charles is authorized to export up to 2 billion cubic feet of gas per day for 20 years.
