US Geothermal reports that the Idaho Public Utilities Commission has approved the power purchase agreement for the Neal Hot Springs project.

US Geothermal's subsidiary, USG Oregon, signed the agreement with Idaho Power in December 2009. The 25-year agreement provides for the purchase of up to 25 MW of certified renewable power. The Neal Hot Springs project consists of 9.6 square miles of geothermal energy and surface rights leased by US Geothermal.
