With this order, Cameron LNG's export capacity can now grow to 24.92 million tons per year or 3.53 Bcf/d. Earlier this year, Cameron LNG received approval from Ferc to go ahead with its proposed expansion project, which will include up to two additional liquefaction trains (trains 4 and 5) and a fifth full containment LNG storage tank. The expansion project will be adjacent to the Cameron LNG terminal and liquefaction facilities that were approved for construction in 2014 in Hackberry.
